The Crappie Anglers of Texas 2 day State Championship was held this past weekend on Lake O the Pines. To say it was a success would be an understatement. We had a total of 52 boats entered
We had our year end banquet and awards at the Johnson Creek Pavilion. The Lake o Pines Chamber of Commerce really treated us right and provided all the food for the event! Thank you Brandy and all the rest that were involved. We really appriciate you guys!
We had a forecast of high winds both days and on that lake it can get brutal. The winds held off for the most part, at least until later in the day. It turned out great both days.
We have two divisions, Division 1 is open to anyone.
Division 2 is geared more towards people just getting into tournament fishing so the rules are NO guides, and you cannot have won more than $1000 in tournaments in the previous year.

Special thanks to our President Lane Palmer and Robert Russell Lane will be stepping down after the season wraps up after many years serving on the board of directors and the last two as president. We appreciate all your work Lane!
