HEY CAT MEMBERS!!!

The next big CAT Special Event is coming up May 2nd at Lake Lavon (Avalon Park) the Lake Lavon Fun Day. The fishing should be terrific so don’t miss this draw tournament and fun events.

Draw tournament
If you want to sign up for the draw tournament, you need to:
1—Come to the CAT Meeting Thursday (4/23/09) or contact Paul O’Bier at 972-816-2481 by Thursday and let him know you want to sign up as a boater or non-boater if you are unable to attend the meeting.

Tournament hours are from 7am until 11:30 a.m. and you must be in the weigh-in line by 12 noon. Entry fee is $10.00 and we will draw for partners. Each team will weight five (5) fish. The weigh-in will be at Avalon Park with a fish fry, sponsor seminars, a special guest seminar and a horseshoe tournament to follow. You must be a member of CAT to fish the tourney. Fun events are open to members and non-members.

Fish fry:
• $5.00 / person
• Hot dogs and chips will also be available for $5.00 / person

Horseshoe tournament:
• $5.00 / person entry fee
• The first 16 people to sign up will draw for teams
• This is a winner take all with ½ the total entry fees going to the winning team ½ to the CAT club.

• CAT membership sign-up

All proceeds will go to the CAT Texas State Championship payouts!

Forty Teams fished the last CAT Qualifier at Lake O’ the Pines, and the fishing promises to be even better this month at Lavon, so don’t miss out. We hope to see you on the water, and good luck!
