This seminar meeting was held on Tuesday, May 12, 2008 at the Carrollton Public Library, Rm #2, at 4220 N Josey @ Hebron Pky.

Hmm. Let's see how much I can recall a week later...

There wasn't much business being discussed at this meeting other than Jay Don gave us a quick financial run down of the club and how much was banked at the moment. Was there anything else?

Guy also brought the new club decals. I believe they are $10 each. (Someone shoot me an email if this is incorrect).

Following the two brief items above, Jay Don spent much of the rest of the meeting providing details about dock shooting including information on rods, reels, baits, line, and method. He also provided specific bait sizes and color that work well on Cedar Creek Reservoir. Easier ways to fish docks other than the traditional shooting method were mentioned as well. When discussing ways to locate the "right dock", both Ernest and Guy chimed in and added details of what to look for and what to avoid complete with sketches on the board.

Jay Don also asked several folks to provide information on how to keep fish alive as it is a requirement for weigh in at our tourneys.

Once again, maps of the next tournament lake, Cedar Creek Reservoir, were placed on the front wall and specific locations were pointed out as potential hot spots depending on conditions.

Last but not least, Rainbow Audio Visuals provided a PA system for the meeting speakers to use. It helped the back of the room a ton! Thanks!
